Since 1997, BioLynceus has been working with refineries to remediate their waste water stream.
In the remediation of the waste water and lagoons, we have successfully mitigated over 50% of solids that were already in the ponds, as well as handling any new sludge that would have built-up without our programs in place.
In one study (Sludge Reduction) we dropped over 24" of sludge out of the #1 and the #2 lagoons in 90 days. These kinds of numbers demonstrate a tremendous amount of bio-activity using the BioLynceus programs to mitigate hydro-carbon waste in the wastewater stream at the refinery.
The programs offered by BioLynceus continue to demonstrate how the diversity of the programs offered, combined with specialty blending of the products to address hydro-carbons is an efficient way to mitigate hydro-carbons. In every site where the BioLynceus line has been implemented correctly, the bio-augmention of the wastewater stream to digest the hydro-carbons continues to provide great benefit to the client to maintain a healthy waste stream, bio-degrade and mitigate hydrocarbons on-site.
Efficient waste waster treatment and sludge reduction is a vital requirement for refineries. With environmental legislation becoming ever more stringent, the adoption of alternative waste reduction methods is essential.
In the case of refinery waste, the levels of sludge must be reduced
to lessen quantities for disposal and the consequent cost involved.
Due to the varying properties of refinery sludges, sludge
decomposition and reduction requires considerable bio-diversity to effectively
remediate the waste solids.
Each project is as unique as the varied characteristics of the products involved, and the sludge properties are a primary consideration at the outset of each project, to ensure successful remediation and reduction results.

We customize our refinery treatment to address the unique system requirements.
Our products are safe to use in the existing waste facilities, waste water treatment processing tanks and lagoons. The process includes an initial application with a prescribed program for on-going waste treatment applications. Each site is customized to meet the requirements of the site.
